Thanks for showing an interest in Surplus Festival.  We believe that it is really important to cater for all food types, and welcome applications not just from traders selling alternative food choices including organic, vegan & vegetarian meals, and those that cater for intolerances (i.e. gluten free).




THE FESTIVAL: Surplusfest is a Not-for-Profit organisation holding a 3 Day festival event, which includes camping for the general public, workers and artists.


THE PUNTERS: We are selling tickets for 998 people – last year we were full capacity.


FEES:  Pitch fee £250 (payable in cash on arrival).  A deposit of £50 is required (non-returnable) with the remaining balance to be paid upon arrival.


STAFF: 2 crew wristbands will be provided per pitch.


ARRIVAL: Traders are expected to arrive on site on Thursday 29th June between 9am and 10pm to set up (please note, gates will be closed after 10pm). If this is not feasible please provide details of when you will be arriving on site on the form attached.


POWER: We are running the event on solar power and have limited power output –  please provide your own power source.


WASTE: waste should be separated into recycling, food waste & general waste where possible. We endeavour to recycle/compost where feasible, and will dispose of trader’s waste where necessary, however we would be grateful if you could take as much waste off site with you as possible when you leave site.


We also ask that you provide alternatives to plastic where possible (i.e. wooden forks / card food trays, cans rather than bottles, etc)


**Please be aware that the set up will be on a grassy field NOT on hard standing – please make allowances for this. Vehicles and trailers brought on site are done so at your own risk and Surplus Festival accept no responsibility for damage caused to vehicles or trailers while on site due to the ground conditions**
